Press Release: Exciting development for Geneva Healthcare
29 October, 2013
On the 27th October 2013, Geneva Healthcare Limited purchased Northlink Health (formerly known as Rodney Trust).
This acquisition and change of ownership brings the strengths of both organisations together making the new organisation one of the largest providers of Home and Community support services in the Northern region.
Moving forward the new entity will be known as Geneva Northlink Healthcare and Wendy Hawkins will continue as Chief Executive for six months during the transition process of bringing both companies together.
Northlink Health has been providing Home Support Services, Home Rehabilitation Services and Community Home Based Nursing Services to people of all ages since 1977. Their clients include the Ministry of Health, the Waitemata and Northland District Health Boards and the Accident Compensation Corporation, as well as privately funded customers.
Under Geneva Northlink Healthcare their services will continue as usual as we warmly welcome the staff and clients into the new organisation and build this partnership.
Josephine Wallis, Founder and Chief Executive of Geneva Healthcare says “I believe this transfer of ownership offers a strategic opportunity for Geneva Northlink Healthcare to provide even greater services and will enhance the future growth and performance of healthcare services in the North Auckland and Northland region.”
