Aurecon appoints new Industry Director, Transport
Aurecon has appointed David Radcliffe as Industry Director, Transport, replacing Phil Hendricks who now leads the company’s Gauteng office.
Reporting to Chief Business Development Officer, Stephen Wells, David will lead Aurecon’s Transport Industry team in building strong client relationships and ensuring all transport clients are getting the full benefit of Aurecon’s multidisciplinary expertise.
David is a Technical Director, based in the Perth Delivery Centre who joined Aurecon in 2012 with responsibility for rail business (both Transport and Resources & Manufacturing Units) in Western Australia. He has also led the Project Management function in Aurecon’s Capital Project Delivery Service Group.
Stephen Wells said, “David’s strong business acumen, combined with decades of international experience in delivering significant transport projects, is an excellent resource for our clients and for Aurecon’s transport business development team. David will work closely with our teams across Delivery and Business Development to ensure we are delivering the best of Aurecon to our clients.”
Prior to joining Aurecon, David held senior roles in business development and delivery with Ansaldo STS and AECOM.
At Ansaldo STS David was most recently Vice President, Project Management, responsible for successful delivery for all Transport Solutions projects globally. Prior to that he was Ansaldo’s Head of Project Management in the Asia Pacific region.
At AECOM (then Maunsell) he was Industry Director, Rail for five years, responsible for client relationships and setting strategies to win and deliver projects. His project experience spans ANZ and Asia, Europe, and Africa. He has extensive rail experience, with over 25 years delivering Australian and international rail projects, and is experienced in multiple delivery models and in providing a range of services ranging from feasibility studies and expert advice through to total project delivery.
