Goodman (NZ) Limited, the Manager of Goodman Property Trust, is pleased to announce that The Crossing, a new commercial, retail and hospitality precinct at the award  winning Highbrook Business Park, will be opened today. The official ceremony will be attended by, the Prime Minister, local iwi and over 200 invited guests.

Developed by Goodman Property Trust, the $35 million facility provides almost 10,000 sqm of retail, office and hospitality areas in a compact and vibrant urban space.

It features campus style buildings arranged around a podium base, supporting an open plaza area that adds further high quality public spaces to the Estate.

Goodman (NZ) Limited's Chief Executive Officer, John Dakin said “The Crossing is a key component of the Highbrook masterplan. Designed to provide amenity and support services to our business park customers, the development has been a great success.”

Professional service firms, business support providers, convenience retail outlets, food and hospitality options, short stay accommodation and gym facilities have all been established at The Crossing in the last few months.

John Dakin said “We are more than halfway through the planned development at Highbrook and are excited by the progress that has been achieved to date. We expect The Crossing to be a further catalyst that helps drive the next phase of our development programme.”

With more than 100 hectares of strategically located development land in East Tamaki, Highbrook Business Park provides much needed capacity to support Auckland’s growth.
