MediaWorks TV is delighted to welcome Alana O’Neill as GM Integration.
Alana will join MediaWorks from Spark PhD, where she has held the role of Media Director for the past four years, leading a team to develop and implement innovative media strategies integrated across the media, digital, PR and activation spheres.
Alana’s career spans more than 20 years in the media and communications industry in both New Zealand and Australia. She has worked in Agency and Direct Sales, Television Broadcast Production, Radio, Television and Media Sales, and has held senior creative, digital and media agency positions.
MediaWorks TV Director of Sales and Marketing, Liz Fraser says:
“Alana has an outstanding background in developing and implementing innovative media strategies across television, radio and digital.

Alana O’Neill says: “MediaWorks Integration sets the standard in this market when it comes to creating integrated solutions for clients.
“From the enormously successful marquee shows like The X Factor NZ and The Block NZ to creative campaigns like ‘Kiwi Favourites’, I’ve admired the work of this talented, innovative team for some time. I’m looking forward to leading them to new successes.”
Prior to her role at Spark PhD, Alana was Business Director at Initiative Media, one of Australia’s original standalone media companies. Her earlier CV includes Media Director for Channel I, a boutique media and production division set up to develop new formats and deliver locally produced, long-form advertorial solutions for clients such as their highly successful ‘Food in a Minute’.
Alana was the inaugural General Manager for DDB Digital NZ, launched in 2000 as one of the first companies targeting the emergent interactive comms sector, has held agency account management roles at TVNZ, TV3 and private radio sales and marketing consortium PRISM, and worked in television broadcast production at Avalon.
Alana will take up her role at MediaWorks in late November.
