Trio Communications appoints new staff on back of business wins

Strategic communications consultancy Trio Communications has appointed Terri Heard as an intermediate consultant in its Auckland office.

Ms Heard was formerly public relations coordinator at Melbourne-based welfare agency Brotherhood of St Laurence where she gained significant media coverage for the organisation across print, broadcast and online platforms.

While gaining her Bachelor of Communications, majoring in public relations and journalism at Griffith University in Queensland, Terri worked in the busy communications and fundraising team at Lifeline Gold Coast. In addition to her PR skills, she has a Diploma of Professional Writing and Editing.

“We are delighted to reverse the tide of talent exports to Australia in Terri’s appointment. She has a wide range of skills and experience that will support us in our current growth,” comments Trio director Brenda Saunders.

Trio Communications, which started in 2007, has built up a strong reputation for delivering sound strategic communications particularly for media issues and crises. Its recent business acquisitions include Tourism Malaysia, Medicines NZ vaccine projects, the New Zealand Association for Migration and Investment, Board of Airlines Representatives NZ and Jalcon Homes. The consultancy also has clients in the health, banking, trade, construction, bioscience and clean technology sectors.

Trio principals Brenda Saunders and Felicity Anderson operate a business model that delivers value for money and ensures clients have the right combination of experience and skills for every project.
