Happy customers see Sovereign’s Customer Relationship Team take out Insurance Industry Award eight years running
Sovereign’s Customer Relationship Team’s winning streak continues, romping home with the Insurance Industry award for the eighth time at the 2013 CRM Contact Centre Awards.
The team of 26 took top honours in front of a crowd of 750 multi-industry representatives from contact centres across New Zealand.
Sovereign’s Chief Operating Officer Gavin Dixon backed the team all the way, saying, “I’m so proud of our Customer Relationship Team, but not surprised. To take the top award for the eighth year in a row speaks for itself as to this team’s drive and dedication to help our customers.
“Continuous improvement of customer service is a priority for Sovereign and this award is a wonderful attribute to our CRM team – we know our customers are going to be receiving the finest customer service.”
The team was judged on responsiveness, anticipating the needs of customers, getting it right first time, sales knowledge, awareness, and valuing the customer. To secure the win Sovereign’s team had to demonstrate consistent performance and exceptional standards across all criteria.
Sovereign’s excellence didn’t stop there, and was represented across many of the awards on offer on the night. The Adviser Relationship Team was a finalist in the Helpdesk Award for the second year, with team member Thomas Sturgess judged as one of the Top 6 Inbound Customer Service Consultants in New Zealand.
And showing that excellence in service goes all the way to the top, Sovereign Contact Centre Senior Manager Lyn Salele’a was again voted as a finalist for Contact Centre Manager of the Year for centres over 50 seats.
