Cheapflights.com.au gets cuter

MEDIA RELEASE

Cheapflights.com.au gets cuter

Today, the airways got just a little bit cuter with Eva Air launching its first Hello Kitty themed B777 flying between Taiwan and the United States.

Eva Air’s Hello Kitty A330 aircraft has been popular on routes between Taiwan and destinations like Guam, Japan, Hong Kong, China and South Korea.

Cheapflights.com.au travel expert Kara Segedin said it is a dreamy way to cross the Pacific Ocean with more than 100 super-cute Hello Kitty-themed items, including Hello Kitty branded-bread rolls, on board the brightly painted planes.

"We think it’ll be an extremely popular service with little kids, big kids and Hello Kitty superfans – and we can see boarding passes and other momentos catching the imagination of collectors.”

The B777-300ER can accommodate 312 and will operate three times a week along the Taipei to Los Angeles route.

There will be Hello Kitty themed pillows, toiletries, boarding passes, luggage tags, snacks and headrests.  Babies will be given Hello Kitty bottles and vegetables and butter will be shaped like the 39 year old cat.

Eva Air is one of more than 300 airline and travel partners who work with Cheapflights.com.au, the online leader in finding and publishing travel deals
