THL launches KEA motorhomes at COVI 2013
Two new luxurious KEA motorhomes will be showcased to potential buyers at this week’s Covi SuperShow, commencing 20 September – the first Covi SuperShow since the November 2012 merger of thl with KEA and United Campervans.
The KEA Retreat 4-berth and KEA Odyssey 6-berth will feature prominently as part of thl’s portfolio on display at Covi SuperShow, which includes Motek and United under the company’s vehicle sales arm.
For the second year running, Motek is sponsoring the Covi SuperShow gate prize, dubbed the ‘Ultimate Road Trip’, offering one lucky show-goer the chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime luxury motorhome adventure for two through the US, Australia and New Zealand.
In addition, the Motek stand will display a reconfigured 4-berth maui Platinum Beach, featuring an island bed, making it the quintessential ‘apartment on wheels’ and even more accessible for serious motorhome travellers.
Steve Lane, National Sales Manager for RV Sales at thl says: “This year’s Covi SuperShow is an ideal place to showcase the reconfigured maui and the new KEA Retreat and Odyssey motorhomes because consumers can experience the vehicles’ luxury, design and space for themselves.
“The KEA Retreat 4-berth is a beautifully built motorhome with plenty of room to sleep up to four comfortably, making it the perfect model for mum, dad and couple of youngsters; while the 6-berth is a luxury motorhome for the bigger family and comfortably sleeps up to six people.
“The Covi SuperShow gives consumers the opportunity to check out our extensive range of vehicles, which are designed and manufactured in New Zealand, making them custom-built for our roads and driving conditions,” says Steve Lane.
All KEA motorhomes are designed and built in New Zealand by RV Manufacturing in Auckland. They all have a unique state-of-the-art body construction with gel coat fibreglass outer walls, European designed interiors with spacious living room, panoramic windows and come with the choice of either Volkswagen or Mercedes chassis.
