Best Direct Marketing Campaigns of 2013 Wanted!
9 September 2013
Best Direct Marketing Campaigns of 2013 Wanted! Call for entries now open
Insight-driven marketing projects and campaigns, connecting with customers on an individual basis through a multitude of channels and generating outstanding results… all of these add up to excellence in Direct Marketing.
Since 1986, the NZ Direct Marketing Awards, which encompass both the RSVP and Nexus categories, have recognised clients, agencies, consultancies and suppliers who have contributed to solid, measurable business returns through excellence in response driven marketing.
The call for entries is officially open, so
it’s now time to start preparing
Industry sector
categories enable entries to be judged against others from
within the same sector, while campaigns can also be entered
into numerous channel categories. In addition, the Craft
Award categories celebrate the ‘art’ of the individual
elements that contribute to the overall cohesiveness of a
campaign, such as Best Art Direction, Best Data Strategy,
and Most Innovative campaign.
Winner of last year’s Grand Prix, Ben Goodale, MD of .99/justONE said “There’s an unashamed focus on measurable results in these Awards. If you can prove that the campaign directly drove results, you’ll do well.”
Underpinning the success of many campaigns is the strategic vision, innovation, customer and/or market insight, marketing tools and techniques, products or services that make the use of interactive one-to-one communication quicker, easier, or more insightful. It is these that the Nexus Award categories recognise.
Additionally, entries will be welcomed for the Special Awards – the Keith Norris Award for the Direct Marketing Organisation of the Year, won last year by EziBuy, and the Direct Marketer of the Year Award, won by Jo Reynolds of IPCA/Subway.
Both the entry process and entry forms have been simplified and can be found at www.nzdmawards.co.nz/enter, together with full category descriptions and an outline of what the judges will expect to see in a well-crafted entry.
The deadline for entries is 5pm, 25 October 2013 with judging taking place throughout November and December. Finalists will be announced before the end of November and the NZ Direct Marketing Awards celebration will take place on Thursday 27 February 2014 at The Langham, Auckland.
