HRV Launches Next Generation Ventilation System
Coinciding with its 10th year in business HRV has launched the next generation ventilation system, its most advanced system available yet in New Zealand.
Featuring a number of significant advancements the next generation product builds on the success of the original HRV ventilation system that is installed in over 135,000 homes across New Zealand.
Bruce Gordon, CEO HRV New Zealand says the company invested considerable time and resource in the development of the next generation system.
“We reviewed all elements of the current system and then developed or sourced the best components available to ensure we had a ventilation product that would maintain our position as market leader in assisting New Zealanders’ to create a healthier invironment. We have used Kiwi ingenuity to create a world leading product.”
Advancements have been made in a number of areas including a technologically advanced touch screen controller that has an intuitive and user-friendly interface that is easier to use. It is fully automated with advanced ‘set and forget’ functionality that allows seamless integration with all HRV ventilation solutions and accessories. “It is now possible for example to flush the air through your home at a set time automatically each day using what we famously call Burnt Toast mode – perfect to get cool night temperature as we head into Summer” Gordon says
Through the use of cutting edge manufacturing techniques the company has produced a core system that out performs anything on the market. There is a significant increase in airflow resulting in more ventilation, more often. The new core system is so quiet homeowners will not even know it is there.
The system features HRV filters that through the use of industry leading nanofibre technology provides the greatest efficiency available in home filtration. The Seta nanofibres are 500 times thinner than a human hair and allow the filter to capture very small particles. This has resulted in the filter Eurovent efficiency rating increase from F7 to F8.
The HRV Next Generation also introduces a cost saving innovation for customers - the option of doing the filter change themselves as it is simply a case of unclipping the unit and changing the 16 pleat filter.
The state of the art system features a new smoke detector safety device incorporated into it that automatically shuts the system down if it detects smoke in the roof space thereby containing the risk, and triggers an alert on the keypad.
“The new system is available for new customers immediately and a “trade-up” special price is available to our valued existing customers wanting the very best home invironment” Gordon says.
