New mortgage adviser for Mortgage Express

Mr Heyes comes to Mortgage Express with a broad background in the financial services industry. His most recent role was that of lending consultant for Westpac bank, where he was part of the broker unit focusing on home loans, construction, personal loans, and debt consolidation.

“We are pleased to have Peter join the team,” says General Manager of Mortgage Express, Sarah Johnston. “He has considerable experience in the industry and will be able to provide excellent advice and support for his clients. What sets Peter apart is his all-round expertise and an ability to think outside the square.”

Mr Heyes has also been personally involved in the property market for over 30 years, buying and selling properties across New Zealand and Australia. Having been both lender and purchaser, he is well-informed on how to spot a good purchase.

Mr Heyes says he is looking forward to being part of the Mortgage Express team. “I’ve spent a lot of time behind a desk crunching numbers, so it’s great to be able to get in front of the customers – to share the knowledge and experience I’ve gathered over the years. There are a lot of people struggling to get into the property market right now, so it’s important that they are well-informed and supported in their decisions. I’m looking forward to providing that service for them.”

Mr Heyes is primarily based in the East Auckland region.
