Mint Appoints New Portfolio Manager
Funds management company Mint Asset Management (Mint) is pleased to announce the appointment of Anthony Halls as a Portfolio Manager.
Anthony joins Mint from the NZ Super Fund where he has been managing a team of analysts who evaluate investment strategies and opportunities globally across both listed and private asset classes. During his five years with the Super Fund he was critical to the development and execution of a range of investments, helped build the investment analysis team and developed the strategy to manage NZ equities in house.
Rebecca Thomas CEO of Mint Asset Management commented, “We are delighted to have someone of Anthony’s calibre and wide experience in global investment markets joining the Mint team.”
Anthony will work alongside Shane Solly, Mint’s Head of Equities, on both the equity and listed property portfolios.
Anthony has worked as an analyst and Portfolio Manager in investment markets since the mid 1990’s and prior to his time at the NZ Super Fund, he spent four years at BT Funds Management where he was initially a senior equity analyst and then the Portfolio Manager of the BTNZ Dividend Share Fund.
Anthony’s appointment commences on 16 September 2013.
