GeoOP announces Viv Brownrigg as a new board member
Leading accountancy consultant brings a strong record of business creation and transformation and understanding of what leads to business success
Auckland, 29th August 2013 - GeoOP Limited, the mobile workforce management company globally empowering trade and service businesses to create efficient business, has announced Viv Brownrigg as a new board member and independent Director. Brownrigg, a Fellow of the NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants, brings an outstanding strong record in coaching, transforming and bringing success to SMEs.
Brownrigg has a long association with GeoOP’s CEO Leanne Graham, having worked with her at Xero. “As well as having the experience to assess financial situations and provide leadership on governance issues, Viv is extremely level-headed with an impressive depth of experience in transforming start-ups into industry-standard success stories,” says Graham. “She brings to us a proven track record of expanding and enhancing high growth technology businesses.”
Brownrigg says she is excited to be working again with Graham in a company with the extraordinary growth potential of GeoOP. “Leanne’s work ethic, energy and ability to set up successful channels is remarkable,” says Brownrigg. “She has an intuitive touch for getting a product to market and GeoOP has enormous appeal for the services and trades industries.
“I’ve been observing the add-on space for quite some time and not yet seen such a scalable product like GeoOP that has the ability to change the way small and micro businesses work. I understand the support systems a business like GeoOP needs around them to be more productive and profitable and aim to enhance this understanding within it, so it can extend its value to its customer base.”
