Tourism Holdings appoints Rob Campbell as new chairman

Aug. 28 (BusinessDesk) - Tourism Holdings has appointed Rob Campbell as its new chairman effective from tomorrow, just four months after he joined the campervan operator’s board.

Campbell’s election by the board was part of the transition plan to replace outgoing chair Keith Smith, the company said in a statement. Campbell, who also chairs Guinness Peat Group and Summerset Group, joined Tourism Holdings’ board in April as the company beefed up the number of independent directors.

Smith will remain on the board until his retirement in November.

Tourism Holdings will announce its annual results tomorrow.

The shares fell 1.6 percent to 60 cents today, and have shed 12 percent this year.
