newest offering features well-known Fanta fruitiness with
zero sugar
AUCKLAND, 27 August,
2013: On the heels of recent product launches like
Powerade Zero and Fuze Tea, Coca-Cola New Zealand is
continuing to fill the pipeline of low-kilojoule offerings
by introducing Fanta Zero Orange. The tangy, taste-bud
tickling goodness will feature all the great taste of Fanta
with zero sugar.
Fanta Zero Orange’s release falls in line with Coca-Cola New Zealand’s recently announced business commitments aimed at addressing obesity. The Company pledged to:
• Increase the availability of smaller portion sizes
• Offer more low-kilojoule beverage options
• Provide transparent nutritional information in more places, including vending machines
• Help New Zealanders to get moving by supporting physical activity programs
“This is the latest example of our desire to provide consumers with a range of choices, so they can make best decisions for themselves and their families,” said Delina Shields, Group Marketing Manager , Coca-Cola New Zealand. “For those that love the fruitiness and fun of Fanta but are watching their sugar intake, this is a perfect option. The Fanta brand has a unique personality, and we’ll certainly build on that with Fanta Zero Orange.”
The addition of Fanta Zero, combined with Coke Zero and Sprite Zero, gives Coca-Cola New Zealand a low-kilojoule match for three of its top selling soft drinks. Fanta Zero Orange will come in a share size 1.5L pack at supermarkets around the country.
