Brita Fill & Go To Be Launched At NZ Fashion Week
Leading global water filtration company BRITA will launch the new Fill water filter bottle at New Zealand Fashion Week 2013.
Already a top-seller in a number of overseas markets, the European engineered and designed Fill is the latest innovation in BRITA’s extensive range of water filter products.
The Fill is BPA[1] free and is a sustainable and environmentally friendly alternative to plastic bottled water. The bottle’s activated carbon filter is integrated into the lid – ensuring the best quality filtered water while you drink.
BRITA National Business Manager for New Zealand, Stephen Thompson says the Fill is the perfect accompaniment for consumers conscious about their health and the environment.
“The quality of the local water supply can have an impact on the taste and purity of water. To get the pure clean taste of New Zealand’s best water the way it should be, BRITA offers a range of quality water filters.
“While many New Zealanders already enjoy the benefits of filtered water, there is high demand for a more convenient solution for those on the go. The Fill provides the same quality filtration in a convenient sipper bottle, making it ideal for at school or in the office, out and about, or as part of your exercise routine – you will be able to taste the difference.
“And, because the Fill can be used again and again, there’s less waste going into the environment.”
Featuring leading edge design, the 600ml Fill comes in four colours and incorporates a weekly-exchange filter cartridge that removes chlorine and impurities but leaves in essential minerals. Included with the bottle are four BRITA Fill Filter Discs for the first month of use. Replacement filters are available in convenient packs of eight. The bottles are dishwasher safe.
As the official water supplier at New Zealand Fashion Week (NZFW), BRITA will be launching the new product at the company’s on-site Water Bar at 10.30am, Thursday, 5 September. Throughout the week, BRITA will be ensuring models, designers and guests stay healthy and hydrated with water available from the BRITA Water Bar and at water stands throughout the venue.
“For those of us working at NZFW, staying hydrated is essential,” said NZFW Sponsorship Manager Myken Stewart. “It’s a long week and we drink lots of water to look our best and stay on top of our game mentally and physically. It’s exciting to have BRITA on board NZFW this year and I’m sure with its sleek, smart European styling, the BRITA bottle will be one of the must have accessories of the week.”
The Fill has already appeared at key global runway shows, making its debut at last year’s London Fashion Week. The BRITA Water Bar has also featured at premier events in Sydney and Melbourne, before being transported to New Zealand for the first time, exclusively for New Zealand Fashion Week.
BRITA is one the world’s leading companies in water optimisation and filtering systems. Over 250 million people across 60 countries enjoy BRITA water. In Australia, of the 25% of people who use a water-filtering device, more than half use a BRITA product.  “BRITA pioneered the domestic water filtration industry, and today remains at the forefront of technology and sustainability,” says Mr Thompson.
Established over 40 years ago, BRITA has expanded its innovative filtration products into the broader domestic and commercial industries, manufacturing water filters for professional use in coffee machines, vending machines, steamers and dishwashers, and is used by top chefs for food preparation and cooking.
