Warehouse Pen Campaign Generates $144,300 of Sales and Gives Youthline a Boost
Youthline’s National youth helpline will be given a boost from ‘The Warehouse’ following a successful in-store pen campaign.
The campaign saw over 68,000 Youthline pens sold at The Warehouse counters throughout New Zealand.
Youthline’s National Spokesperson, Stephen Bell says young people will reap the rewards. Warehouse CEO Mark Powell will present the $144,300  cheque to Youthline today at 10am at the Warehouse head office on the North Shore.
“Each year we manage over 430,000 contacts via our youth helpline and text support service,  and it costs almost $800,000 per year to keep the service running, so this campaign has had a significant and positive impact. The Profits from the campaign will equate to almost 9% of our helpline’s annual costs.”
“The Warehouse has great community values. We’re really proud to have partnered with them on this and are very grateful for their support,” says Bell .
The Warehouse CEO Mark Powell said that Youthline are a huge asset to the country and that investing in stronger communities is part of the company’s DNA.
“The Warehouse is committed to supporting families and young people and so we are really happy to be able to help provide Youthline with these additional funds so they can continue with the amazing work they provide for the community.”
