Caltex KERIKERI set for upgrade
KERIKERI, New Zealand, 19 AUGUST 2013 – Chevron New Zealand will temporarily close the doors of Caltex Kerikeri, as the site undergoes a $600,000 upgrade of facilities. The site will reopen in early October.
Caltex Kerikeri will cease supplying fuel at the close of business on 26th August 2013 in preparation for an intended underground re-tank. This will update the site’s facilities and provide it with the latest underground double wall fiberglass storage tanks.
Upgrades to the site will include the newest in Caltex imagery being rolled out around the Asia/Pacific region along with the latest underground fuel storage tanks.
“The upgrades to Caltex Kerikeri will allow greater convenience to our customers,” says Operations Manager Deepesh Shah. “We’re really looking forward to reopening the site and offering the best to our community.”
“Providing the community with the best service possible is a core value at Chevron,” says Jeremy Clarke, Policy, Government and Public Affairs Manager for Chevron New Zealand. “We look forward to seeing how these changes improve convenience for customers and will keep the public up to date with progress and a re-opening date.”
During the upgrade the nearest Caltex sites in the area are:
• Caltex Waitangi, 10 Black Ridge Road, Paihia
• Caltex Kawakawa, 1833 State Highway 1, Kawakawa, Northland
• Caltex Ngapuhi, 19 Broadway, Kaikohe
