Keep fit with a heart rate monitor for Windows Phone
The mobile app NeoCardiograph for Windows Phone 8 monitors your body and prevents heart overload during exercises.

If you exercise regularly or do some other active sport you should consider monitoring heart rate to plan exercise load. It is necessary to define optimal heart rate frequency by exercising and checking this range during trainings. Imagine a free assistant that not only measures this range but also controls your heart rate anytime it is needed.
The Ukrainian mobile apps development company Deyteris has invented such an assistant for Windows Phone 8 devices. It is called NeoCardiograph. There exists similar applications for Android and iOS platforms, but a competitive heart rate monitor app for WP8 has not been released yet.
NeoCardiograph uses a device’s camera to detect heart rate frequencies by analyzing a fingertip image. The same method is used in professional medical equipment.
The app has several unique features:
· Notification of bradycardia and tachycardia threat
· Sport mode
· Themes
NeoCardiograph notifies a user if the resting heart rate is below 50 bpm (bradycardia) or if it rises to over 150 bpm (tachycardia). In Sport mode these notifications are disabled. Users can turn this notification mode on or off anytime.
One of the themes resembles rather a futuristic military drone control panel, than a medical device to measure human heart rate. Sci-Fi movie fans will definitely meet this futuristic design with an enthusiasm. Although followers of ‘traditional values’ may treat it cautiously. NeoCardiograph takes into account preferences of both letting users to choose from two themes – light and dark one.
Every heart rate measuring is recorded in Measures history and can be shared on Facebook, Twitter or sent by email to an attending doctor.
