New Collaboration Partnership with Callaghan Innovation an Endorsement of Lincoln Agritech
Lincoln Agritech Ltd has been selected as one of four strategic partners to work with Callaghan Innovation to help unlock the potential of New Zealand’s High Value Manufacturing and Services(HVMS) sector and businesses through increased commercialisation of research, including science, engineering, technology and design (SETD) led innovation. Callaghan Innovation and Lincoln Agritech have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to work together to help NZ companies grow.
Lincoln Agritech supports Callaghan Innovation’s desire to help grow NZ business through the adoption of technology. Lincoln Agritech have been doing that in the primary sector for 49 years, firstly as the NZ Agricultural Engineering Institute, then as Lincoln Ventures Ltd, and latterly as Lincoln Agritech Ltd. CEO Peter Barrowclough says “The addition of Callaghan Innovation to NZ’s Innovation system will help business understand the value of research and development, assist businesses to make a step change in their growth through the adoption of science and technology, and support them through the research and development process. As a research provider we welcome this assistance to enable us to play our part in lifting NZ’s incomes and economic well being through innovation led economic growth”.
