BlueBerry IT Celebrates Five Years of Success

Nelson technology business BlueBerry IT will celebrate its fifth birthday milestone this week, marking five years of successful growth and development since the company was founded in 2008.

Providing a wide range of IT support services for businesses of all sizes, BlueBerry IT credits its exponential growth to a growing demand for customised IT solutions.

Technical Director of BlueBerryIT, Richard Butler, says the birthday celebration is an opportunity to reflect upon the company’s humble beginnings and honour successes to date.

“BlueBerryIT began from the living room of one of the former directors and has quickly become recognised as an industry leader, so we are looking forward to celebrating our fifth anniversary with everyone who has supported our journey so far,” says Butler.

“Achievements since our inception have included winning the Nelson Chamber of Commerce Emerging Business Award in 2009, and the Excellence in Service Award in 2011. Although we now have clients all around the world we are proud to be a wholly Nelson owned and operated enterprise.”

Business Development Manager, Allan Willoughby, says growth is expected to continue.

“Our revenues grew from nothing into a six figure turnover within three years, and growth has continued at a steady pace since then,” says Willoughby.

“We are increasingly winning more and more business from large national franchise operators, which is great for the local economy, and we have a strategy in place to ensure we continue to develop.”
