Snooze Your Way To $10,000: Sealy searches for sleep ambassador
Dollars while you doze? Sound like it’s too good to be true? It’s no dream.
Bed manufacturer Sealy NZ is offering one lucky Kiwi an opportunity to earn at sleeping. The company is launching a nationwide promotion to find a sleep ambassador, someone who enjoys a settled snooze and is happy to write about it.
The successful sleep ambassador picks up a slumber package worth more than $10,000. It includes a top-of-the-range Sealy Posturepedic bed, worth $5,699, linen from Wallace Cotton, an iPad and $100 a night for the month of September.
To become one of nine finalists, entrants must convince the judging panel as to why they would be the dream sleep ambassador. The winner will be chosen by public vote and announced on August 26.
Sealy NZ marketing manager, Jenni Gaze explains “it’s a fantastic opportunity to earn while you doze”.
“If you feel you have the credentials to be a champion of snooze we want to hear from you,” she says. “As part of the promotion we’ll pay you to sleep on one of our latest beds and in return we would love to hear your feedback.
“The ‘job description’ is something to behold and the prize package is worth more than $10,000,” Mrs Gaze says. “It’s a great opportunity for someone to experience the absolute difference sleeping on a Sealy Posturepedic bed can make.”
The promotion is underway now at www.sealy.co.nz and closes on 12 August. Entrants must be at least 18 years old.
The winner is required to keep a sleep journal, offer product feedback and blog about the experience.
Dream on.
