Turners Auctions appoints Todd Hunter as CEO

The board of Turners Auctions has announced the appointment of Todd Hunter to the role of CEO of the company, with immediate effect. Hunter has held senior executive positions within Turners over the last seven years and brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role.

The appointment comes after a robust recruitment process, which included both national and international candidates. Hunter has spent the past five months as interim CEO, resulting in a smooth transition for the company.

Turners Auctions Chairman, Michael Dossor, says it is business as usual for New Zealand’s largest auction house.

“We are delighted to announce Todd’s appointment as CEO as he has proven himself the best candidate for the job. Todd stepped up as interim CEO five months ago and he has done a fantastic job for the business. We look forward to continued success for Turners Auctions with Todd at the helm”.

Under Hunter’s stewardship Turners Auctions has continued to thrive having recently negotiated two significant deals with LeasePlan and Transfield Services.
