Ngai Tahu Tourism Achieves Health & Safety Improvements with Mango Software
Mango’s cloud-based health & safety software delivers productivity gains
Auckland, New Zealand – July 30, 2013
Leading health & safety software company, Mango, has been chosen by Ngai Tahu Tourism to improve health & safety practices across its various businesses. Ngai Tahu Tourism owns and operates some of the most iconic and unique tourism experiences available in New Zealand.
Following Ngai Tahu Tourism’s switch to Mango, the organisation has achieved significant improvements in its health & safety practices.
Mango has enabled Ngai Tahu Tourism to significantly reduce the amount of time and effort needed to manage their health & safety obligations and achieve better decision-making. It has also delivered greater employee buy-in and more efficient communication and reporting.
“We chose Mango because of its ease-of-use and the strength of reference checks performed with some of their existing clients,” says Rachael Sweetman, Group HR Manager at Ngai Tahu Tourism. “Mango has exceeded our expectations. It’s allowed us to consolidate all of our health & safety documentation and processes in one place but still achieve strong ownership of health & safety at a business level. We are extremely pleased with both the software and the service provided by Mango. ”
“Ngai Tahu Tourism are a good example of the type of organisation that uses Mango,” says Craig Thornton, Mango’s Chief Support Officer. “Because they’re geographically dispersed, communication and consistency of information becomes difficult if you don’t have smart systems. Being cloud-based, Mango allows Ngai Tahu Tourism to run a single centralised health & safety management system that can be accessed by all staff, as and when required.”
