Stamford Plaza Auckland has created three new positions within its corporate structure to reflect the hotels recent growth and to meet changes to the Auckland tourism / hospitality market.
Assistant General Manager – Admir Mullaaliu
A highly regarded hotel operations manager, Admir has more than nine years’ hospitality experience in New Zealand, including three years specialising in food and beverage. Progressing from corporate trainee at Heritage Hotel Management to Hotel Operations Manager at SKYCITY Hotel, Auckland, he has demonstrated his capabilities as an astute and capable leader who relishes challenges and responds to the commercial imperatives of a competitive business.
Senior Business Development Manager – Natasha Lloyd
Specialising in the inbound, wholesale, cruise, sporting and entertainment market segments, Natasha has extensive knowledge of each market which she has gained during her time working for industry partners including talpacific Holidays and Magnetic South in product management along with The Quadrant Hotel Auckland and Scenic Hotel Group in sales orientated positions. With over 13-years experience working across the inbound, wholesale and supplier sectors, Natasha is well known throughout the travel and hospitality industries
PR & Marketing Manager – John Moffett
With vast experience in Marketing, PR, Event Management and Strategic Brand Development, John has spent the last 3 years consulting in the fields of Film/TV and Fashion. Previously John has managed some of New Zealand’s largest events both public and corporate and spent time as BDM and Account Manager with Stage and Screen travel services. John brings to this new role an exciting set of media contacts, his interpersonal skills are second to none and are backed up by knowledge gained from hands on experience.
Stamford Plaza Auckland General manager Paul Evans says “The new roles are extremely important to the hotel, it’s direction and ensuring the growth we have experienced over the last few months continues”. The new roles have all been filled by people Evans says “bring experience, a strong work ethic, vibrancy and industry knowledge in their respective fields”.
Natasha will report through to National Director of Sales Nigel Clarke, while both Admir and John will report directly through to General Manager Paul Evans.
Situated in the heart of Auckland’s CBD, the hotel is only a few minutes walk to the lively Viaduct Harbour precinct, close to Auckland’s top theatres and a few minutes walk to Vector Arena. The hotel has three separate eateries all conveniently located at street level. On the 10th floor the recreation centre has an indoor heated swimming pool, spa whirlpool, sauna and a state-of-the art gymnasium.
