Asian ambition for Ray White
The long-serving head of Ray White Commercial moves into a key role next month accelerating the Group’s Greater China and Asia ambitions through a commitment to a corporate presence based in Hong Kong.
Ray White has been in Asia (predominantly in Indonesia and Singapore) for over 20 years with 130 offices and 2120 people operating today. The company is looking to grow its operations with a core focus on China.
Now for the first time they will have a senior corporate presence situated in Asia starting August 1.
Mark Williams, the
former CEO of Ray White Commercial, brings 30 years of
experience and an intimate knowledge of Ray White to head
the Group’s push in Asia. He will relocate to Hong Kong as
Director for Greater China and Asia, according to Ray White
Group director Dan White.
“Mark’s role will present everyone in our Group with the opportunity to provide their clients with better knowledge and access to this significant and rapidly growing market,” Mr White said.
Mark’s board role will work in with all components of the Ray White brand including residential, commercial, hotels and projects.
“The focus will be to expand the 130-office Asian network, growing local market sales as well as facilitating cross border transactions within Asia and to and from Australia and New Zealand markets,” Mr Williams.
