Organic Skincare Company Confirms Industry Growth

A report released last week by Organics Aotearoa New Zealand (OANZ) confirming a 25% growth in the organic sector in New Zealand over the past three years has been confirmed by a Nelson-based organic skincare company.

Company Founder Carol Priest says the report validates the rapid growth Plantae Certified Organic Skincare has experienced since its inception in December 2012, and portrays an increasing demand in organic products across the board.

“Consumers are not only becoming more aware of what they put into their bodies and onto their skin, but also of the environmental and social consequences of their choices and actions,” says Priest.

“Our stockist numbers have increased by over a third in the last month alone, in addition to recently acquiring distributors in Canada and the UK, with enquiries flooding in by the day, so the exponential growth we have experienced to date is an accurate reflection of OANZ’s report, and we expect this developmental trend to continue.”

Ends.
