AUCKLAND, New Zealand, July 11, 2013 – Dell today announced the availability of the Online Solutions Configurator (OSC) tool in Australia and New Zealand, allowing partners to create multipart, customised enterprise solutions for their customers in an easy, collaborative and intuitive way.
This enhancement to PartnerDirect provides pre-configured solutions and training videos, as well as the option to create customised solutions to meet specific customer needs. The OSC tool has dedicated sales support for the full range of Dell’s Enterprise Solutions including Dell Storage, Servers, Networking and Converged Infrastructure offerings. It is also integrated with Dell’s deal registration system thereby helping partners close deals quickly and easily.
Available in local currencies, the OSC tool has received a positive response from partners who tested the pilot across Australia and New Zealand. Feedback included a reduction in time taken to build preferred solutions, product category pre-selection for respective local markets, and the tool’s ability to provide insights into the range of solutions offered by Dell.
