Grabone Celebrates Third Birthday

Grabone Celebrates Third Birthday

The trainer wheels are off. GrabOne is turning three years old next week and like any three year old, the milestones keep rolling.

Since launching in 2010 daily deal operator, GrabOne has sold over 7.5 million GrabOne coupons and saved Kiwis over $350 million.

“When we launched we were offering one deal per day and had a team of five,” says GrabOne Marketing Manager James Kemp. “We now offer on average 100 deals a day and have 130 staff (or Grabsters as we affectionately call them). It was definitely baby steps when we started but we’re now running like an out of control toddler. It’s exciting times for GrabOne.”

To celebrate their third birthday, GrabOne is running a series of $3 deals and is gifting GrabOne credit to their most loyal Grabbies. GrabOne is also hitting the streets around the country to shout unsuspecting Kiwis coffees, lunches and other treats.

Kemp says the next few months will see GrabOne focusing on enhancing their mobile offerings and merchant tools while creating more unique events through merchant partnerships.

GrabOne has an 80 per cent market share in New Zealand.
