Community grants information at public meeting

Auckland community organisations will be able to find out how to access grants and support when they attend the funding
fair at ASB Community Trust’s annual public meeting on 5 August.
The public meeting will be held at West Harbour’s Te Piringatahi o te Maungaarongo Marae, 19 Luckens Rd. Guests are
asked to assemble outside at 1.45pm, ready to be called into the marae for the 2pm powhiri.
During the public meeting, ASB Community Trust’s Chair Ken Whitney will present the annual report and results for the
year, CEO Jennifer Gill will give an overview of plans for 2013 and Senior Grants Advisor Catherine George will explain
the Community Support Grants programme.
Following the meeting, guests will be able to attend the funding fair and gather information on grants and support
available to the not-for-profit sector.
Organisations already confirmed for the funding fair are: ASB Community Trust; Auckland Council; Auckland Community
Foundation; DIA Lotteries; the Fundraising Institute of New Zealand; Funding Information Service and Fundview; the Lion
Foundation; North Shore Community and Social Services; Social Development Partners and Tech Soup; The Trusts Community
Foundation (TTCF); Unitec, with the Graduate Diploma in Not for Profit Management and Volunteering Auckland.
