Kordia NZ Makes CTO Appointment
Kordia New Zealand today announces the appointment of Aaron Olphert to the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO). He was previously Kordia’s Head of Business & Market Strategy.
In his new role, Olphert is responsible for leading and creating Kordia’s technology vision and roadmap to meet its strategic goal of becoming New Zealand’s leading provider of business critical services.
Olphert began his career with Kordia in 1993 and in 20 years has worked across operational, technical and commercial areas of the business.
“Aaron brings a wealth of local knowledge and experience to the CTO role,” says Scott Bartlett, CEO of Kordia. “His broad understanding of telecommunication and broadcast technologies combined with his energy, passion and pragmatism add real value to our team.
“We are delighted with the appointment.”
Olphert holds an MBA from the University of Auckland and an electronics engineering qualification.
Aaron Olphert takes up his new role on 1 July.
