Business as usual for Bob Kerridge at SPCA Auckland
Bob Kerridge will retain his position as the Executive Director of SPCA Auckland but is stepping down as President of the national organisation, the Royal New Zealand SPCA.
“We’d like to avoid any confusion by re-iterating that SPCA Auckland will continue to benefit from Bob’s presence as our Executive Director for a long time to come,” says Christine Kalin, SPCA Auckland CEO.
“For us it’s a case of ‘business as usual’ – but with Bob’s increased presence and engagement.
“Bob is a very significant figure in the animal welfare sector and has been a driving force at SPCA Auckland for the past 30 years. We welcome the opportunity to take full advantage of his expertise, experience, and mana to help us drive SPCA Auckland’s strategic goals in the coming years.
“We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate him on the wonders he has achieved during his tenure as National President of the Royal New Zealand SPCA. He has most definitely left the national organisation on a much better footing than when he accepted the role in 2010.”
