Jenny Eves appointed Partner, Audit of Grant Thornton New Zealand
Grant Thornton New Zealand Ltd has announced the appointment of Jenny Eves as a Partner of the audit division.
Jenny joined Grant Thornton in 2007 and has been an associate for the last two years. She is involved in quality control and has performed reviews on behalf of Grant Thornton International and Grant Thornton New Zealand.
She is the first woman to be appointed partner within the audit division of the New Zealand firm, joining a number of other women who have also risen to the position of partner.
“Being the first woman audit partner is an honour and I’m looking forward to the responsibilities and challenges this role will bring,” says Eves.
“Grant Thornton understands the importance of valuing women and ensuring they have equal opportunities to be promoted in to leadership roles.
“The Grant Thornton International Women’s Leadership Link is a great example of this. This programme helps enhance the visibility and awareness of the skills and competencies of Grant Thornton women worldwide in order to provide strong links between international business needs and available international resources.”
Jenny has managed audits in varying sizes from listed entities to privately owned businesses and Not for Profit organisations. She has a wealth of experience in the finance, telecommunications, retail, manufacturing and distribution, software solutions, construction and healthcare industries.
Jenny has over 15 years’ experience delivering audit, assurance, risk and process improvement assignments in New Zealand and internationally.
