PRESS RELEASE: Mosh Social Media, Hell Pizza's Social Media Advisors, To Offer Small Business Training Workshops
Mosh Social Media to Deliver Expert Training For Small Businesses in Auckland
Social media experts Mosh will be hosting a series of workshops for small businesses in Auckland from July to October of this year.
Mosh have been implementing and managing social media campaigns for some of New Zealand’s biggest companies, including Hell Pizza, Contact Energy and Lion.
The interactive and practical workshops are designed to help small business owners understand social media, at a price they can afford. The workshops will be delivered in beginner, intermediate and advanced formats, and are designed to work together, however each one is complete on its own:
1.Set your business up on social media: The popular social media platforms, setting them up and how to use them in your business
2.Optimising social media for business: Getting social media content right, social media best practises and demystifying the data and confusing analytics
3.Social media marketing campaigns: Utilising your social media presence as an effective marketing and sales tool
The workshops will be delivered at The Clarian Room in Auckland with a maximum number of 20 people each session. Participants will bring their own laptop.
“The idea came after hearing people complain about other social media courses in that the participants were given a lot of information about social media, but not how it could apply to their individual business ” says Jon Randles, Head of Community Management at Mosh. “We want the small business owners who come to our workshops to get the most out of them, and we believe by keeping the attendance at 20 we can manage that. There will be four social media experts on hand at each session to teach and assist those attending” he said.
The full-day workshops begin at 8.30am and range between $347 and $397, + GST.
“We deliberately priced these workshops so that small business owners could attend, without re-mortgaging their house” says Julian Thompson, Head of Digital Marketing at Mosh. “Every day we get small businesses knocking on our door asking for us to help them, and finally we can. One-on-one training like we provide for our bigger clients is out of the question for small businesses, but we believe these small-group workshops are the answer” he said.
A full catered lunch (gluten free and vegetarian options available), as well as tea, coffee and Wi-Fi are included, and each session will conclude with a small networking event and a well-deserved drink.
“It’s important for us that the small business owners leave our workshops with more than just confidence and social media knowhow” says Jeremy Marks, Head of Strategies at Mosh. “During the workshops, attendees will be paired up with other businesses that they ‘match’ to facilitate conversation and help with the learning process. At the end of the day, we want to relax, have a drink, and give people a chance to talk to each other and ask any other questions they might have”.
