Leading New Zealand Entrepreneur to Speak at Local Business Event
Mike Chisholm, a leading New Zealand entrepreneur renowned for building small to medium enterprises to astounding success, is scheduled to speak at a business seminar in Nelson on June 24, with all proceeds from the event to be donated to The Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter Trust.
Organisers say the event will provide local business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs with an opportunity to hear insights and lessons learned by Mr Chisholm in developing and selling three technology companies that combined have sold in excess of $100m.
Mr Chisholm says he was invited to speak at the event by local friend and colleague Wayne Densem, a Nelson-based Business and Property Coach and joint sponsor of the event along with Chapman Employment Relations.
“I have known Wayne Densem for a long time, so when he asked me to come to Nelson and speak I was happy to accept his invitation, and I’m looking forward to sharing some of the insights I’ve learned over the years with the Nelson business community,” says Mr Chisholm.
Mr Densem, who also has experience in building and selling enterprises and now teaches individuals how to create “organisational abundance”, will also speak at the event along with Nelson Mayor, Aldo Miccio.
“Nelson is an innovative and creative community that is home to a large number of start-ups and budding entrepreneurs, so I encourage Nelsonians to take advantage of this unique opportunity to hear from one of our nation’s top entrepreneurs,” says Mr Densem.
Tickets for the presentation on 24 June are just $20 and all proceeds will be donated to The Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter Trust. To purchase tickets email wayne@waynedensem.com.
