Plantae Raises the Bar in New Zealand Organic Skincare
Plantae Certified Organic Skincare has raised the bar of skincare made in New Zealand with the release of its latest product, The Rosehip Fruit Omega Rich
Night Cream with Blackcurrant Leaf & Pine Bark Extract.
Company founder and international skincare formulation expert Carol Priest says the certified organic night cream, which
will form part of Plantae’s premium Hydrate range, is an exciting development for Plantae and the local skincare
industry, due to the exceptional quality of the New Zealand sourced organic skincare ingredients it contains and the
uniqueness of the formulation.
“This product is essentially a ‘natural skin vitamin cream’ which feeds the skin utilising a large percentage of New
Zealand sourced nutritive organic essential fatty acid seed oils, such as certified organic beeswax from the central
South Island, borage, and evening primrose seed oils,” says Priest.
“It also contains Pacific Blue Lavender, an award winning essential oil from a local Brightwater farm in Nelson, plus an organic anti-aging herbal complex of
pine bark and blackcurrant leaf, which is rich in anti-oxidant flavonoids, producing a luxurious night cream that is
truly organic and very unique, so we anticipate it will be well received overseas.”
The Rosehip Fruit Omega Rich Night Cream with Blackcurrant Leaf & Pine Bark Extract is certified organic by BioGro, New Zealand’s leading organic certifier.
Plantae is currently available at selected pharmacies, health food stores and via the e-commerce website in New Zealand,
and the night cream is available from July 1, 2013.
