Airports Salute Outgoing Christchurch Airport Chief Executive

New Zealand Airports Association Chief Executive Kevin Ward saluted Jim Boult’s contribution to the sector following news that he is to step down as Christchurch Airport’s CEO at the end of the year.

“Jim has made a massive contribution over his five years in the role, not just to ChristchurchAirport, but also to the wider airports sector.

“He has served as NZ Airports chairman since last August, following an exceptionally busy period overseeing his airport’s critical role in the Christchurch earthquake response and recovery.

“We’ve benefited tremendously from his strong leadership and on behalf of our members I wish him success in his future travels.”

In 2010 Mr Boult was named ‘Airport Personality of the Year’ by NZ Airports. His term as Airports Association chair is due to end in October.
