Syl Semantics Appoints James Fowler As Head of Sales & Marketing, New Zealand & Australia
Wellington-based software company Syl Semantics today announced that it has appointed James Fowler as its head of sales and marketing, New Zealand and Australia. At Syl Semantics, James will be responsible for leading the company’s sales and marketing programme, locally and in Australia.
James joins Syl Semantics from Gen-i where he was responsible for leading client engagement with some of Gen-i’s largest Government and enterprise clients. Before emigrating to New Zealand in 2009, he held senior roles with Cable & Wireless in the United Kingdom and French technology group Sagem SA.
James has a BA Hons from the University of Manchester.
Syl Semantics’ chief executive Sean Wilson said, “James is an experienced sales and marketing professional with extensive and proven experience in B2B sales and business development. He is joining Syl at an exciting time as we develop our channel and strategic partner programme. We look forward to working with him as we accelerate the company’s local and offshore market penetration.”
