New HTC One available on Telecom Smartphone Network

Telecom New Zealand announced today that the highly anticipated HTC One is now available on the Telecom Smartphone Network.

Telecom’s Chief Marketing Officer, Jason Paris, says that the HTC One is a phenomenal phone, which has received rave reviews and is championing some of the most personal and exciting features seen to date in the smartphone market.

“It’s no secret that over the last few years we’ve seen the demand for smartphones in New Zealand increase enormously, with more than half of us now the proud owner of these devices. To our customers, the smartphone is far more than just a handset. It’s their means of staying connected to friends and family, their calendar, camera, a GPS, and in some cases a fashion statement. And the HTC One meets all of these needs and more…

“One of the features that we at Telecom can’t stop talking about is the HTC ZoeTM camera. This brings the photos in your gallery to life, and the feature automatically creates 30-second movies – complete with background music – from the shots you’ve taken over the course of a day or during a particular event. Whether you want to brag about that exclusive gig you went to or share a special moment in the kids’ lives with the grandparents, it’s all there and ready for you.”

The HTC One’s BlinkFeedTM, another outstanding feature, allows users to personalise their home screen with the information they access the most. This can include a myriad of personal information such as news, social applications, photos and videos.

Telecom is offering the HTC One for $0 on a post-paid plan for $119 per month until 12 May. Alternatively, Telecom customers can purchase the smartphone on any pay monthly plan on the Telecom Smartphone Network
