Cameron Partners and PwC congratulate the New Zealand Local Government Funding Agency on receiving prestigious award
The New Zealand Local Government Funding Agency (LGFA) won the ‘Debt Issue of the Year’ award at the INFINZ (Institute of Finance Professions New Zealand) annual industry awards, held last night in Auckland.
INFINZ is the industry body which supports and represents professionals working and participating in New Zealand’s financial and capital markets. The awards recognise achievement and excellence among market participants.
Cameron Partners and PwC are delighted the LGFA has received this award. Partner Hugo Ellis from Cameron Partners says, “We believe this represents well deserved recognition for the innovative work and determined effort that went into the establishment of the LGFA.”
Cameron Partners and Asia-Pacific Risk Management (now acquired by PwC) advised the LGFA from the development of the concept in 2009 through to completion in 2012. PwC Partner Stuart Henderson adds, “We are honoured to be recognised, alongside the LGFA, for our work advising on the establishment of the LGFA and the management of its inaugural $300 million bond issue.”
