New Zealand’s Annual Single Width Users’ Group Conference

INTERNATIONAL SPEAKER CONFIRMED

New Zealand’s 13th Annual Single Width Users’ Group (SWUG) Conference Will Feature Singapore-based DIC Group Asia Pacific Regional Marketing Manager Hayato Kashiwagi As Its Keynote Speaker.

The 13th Annual Single Width Users’ Group Conference will be held from July 17-18 at the Novotel conference and hotel complex adjoining Ellerslie Racecourse, in Greenlane.

Mr Kashiwagi will address the conference, which is being held on July 17-18 at the Novotel Ellerslie conference and hotel complex, on newspaper trends in the Asian market where growth is still being experienced in some territories.

He is also expected to touch upon developments in inks -- a subject in which he has vast experience, with his current role including responsibility for DIC’s graphic arts products.

Describing Mr Kashiwagi as a “young, up-and-coming senior executive”, SWUG chairman Dan Blackbourn says he is a very good speaker who will continue the high calibre of presenters which have graced the stage of recent SWUG conferences.

Having grown up in Chicago, Mr Kashiwagi graduated with a Degree in Commerce from Japan’s Doshisha University in 1999 before commencing his career with the International Division of DIC. He has held various positions both domestically and globally within the organisation.

Mr Kashiwagi has also been a non-executive, non-independent director and member of the Remuneration Committee of Malaysia Packaging Industry Berhad, a public-listed business 10% owned by DIC, since 2009.
