Wellington Airport honours Kaibosh’s success at National Community Awards

Wellington Airport has today presented Kaibosh Food Rescue, winner of the 2012 Wellington Airport Regional Community Awards and 2013 Trustpower National Community Awards with $2500 in recognition of their achievement.

“We are so proud of Kaibosh, as the first Wellington region representatives to win the national awards. They provide an outstanding service to the Wellington community" said Jo Maxwell, Wellington Airport's Sponsorship Manager.

Matt Dagger, General Manager at Kaibosh, said “The past year has been an exciting time of significant growth for us with a definite highlight being the winning of the community awards. While we look forward, it’s great to know that we have the support of Wellington Airport."

This year marks the tenth anniversary of the Wellington Airport Regional Community Awards in association with Wellington Community Trust.

“We are really looking forward to recognising the past decades' charitable organisations and what they have done for the community."

"Nominations for the awards will be open in June" said Jo Maxwell.
