Jade makes new US market appointment

Builds Capability as DPH 5 Port Implementation Commences

Christchurch, 11 April 2013 – Jade Software today announces an appointment to its US team as the company implements its specialist Master Terminal software at five shipping terminals of new client Diversified Port Holdings.

US national Mark Demary, joins Jade as principal consultant, with responsibility for requirements analysis, implementation and consulting – advising clients on the best use of Master Terminal.

The company has high hopes for Master Terminal, a flexible and highly reliable system that maximises operational efficiency and improves competiveness; best suited to fast growing mixed cargo ports.

Demary has extensive technical experience supporting marine terminal operations, when he worked as a systems operator for the US Customs bonded warehouse and foreign trade zones. His most recent role has been as an information assurance engineer, supporting the US Air Force’s Spacelift Range Systems with responsibilities for securing systems in support of NASA’s Space Shuttle, Delta and Atlas rocket launches.

David Lindsay, Managing Director of Jade Software Corporation says that Demary is a welcome addition to the Jade team.

“Master Terminal is growing rapidly and Mark will provide essential on- ground support in the US, a new and important market for our business.

“His knowledge of the market and experience is second-to-none. He will be a tremendous asset to our business and clients as Master Terminal expands in the United States,” says Lindsay.

Jade’s US team is further boosted by the temporary relocation of Stephen Knights, Master Terminal’s principal consultant Europe.
