BP leads further petrol and diesel price decrease
BP has this morning led a national price reduction on petrol and diesel at its Company owned sites. BP has decreased the price of both petrol and diesel by 3 cents per litre, bringing the price at most BP owned service stations to:
91 Unleaded $ 213.9 cents per litre
95 Unleaded $ 221.9 cents per litre
Ultimate Diesel $ 149.9 cents per litre
“The cost of refined products on the international market has continued its downward trend against an overall strengthening NZ dollar,” BP Communications Manager, Jonty Mills said.
“There are numerous factors we consider when reviewing our prices every day, including market conditions, forecasts, averages and trends. We acknowledge there has a lot of media attention around fuel prices over the last couple of weeks, however the international market conditions remain volatile.”
“We’re pleased to be in a position to be able to make these cuts prior to the weekend,” Mills said.
