Air New Zealand slashes Night Rider fares
Air New Zealand is slashing Night Rider™ fares between Auckland and Wellington to $9 each way over the busy Queen’s Birthday holiday weekend.
Air New Zealand Group GM New Zealand and Pacific Islands Cam Wallace says these bargain airfares will make a long weekend getaway affordable for more New Zealanders.
“Currently there are more than 1,000 seats available for $9 across the sale period which we expect to fly out the door. A return trip for only $18 per person certainly makes a getaway to either of these two cities a viable holiday option for Wellingtonians and Aucklanders,” says Mr Wallace.
The special Night Rider™ $9 ‘Seat’ fares are on sale now for travel between 30 May and 4 June subject to availability. Seat+Bag fares are available for $19.
The Air New Zealand Night Rider™ service was launched in October last year and has proven a huge hit with customers with more than 30,000 customers having already taken advantage of the ludicrously low fares.
The service sees all 133 seats on the last Boeing 737 flight of the day between Wellington and Auckland reduced to one low price.
Flights generally depart from both Auckland and Wellington at 10.00pm every night Sunday - Friday. On Saturdays Night Rider™ generally departs Auckland for Wellington at 9.00pm, with the return leg departing Wellington at 10.30pm.
Visit www.airnewzealand.co.nz now to take advantage of the $9 fare.
