Mai Chen Wins Supreme Award At NZ Chinese Business Awards
Chen Palmer is pleased to announce that Founding Partner Mai Chen was the recipient of two awards at the prestigious New Zealand Chinese Business Elite Awards on Saturday Evening.
Mai Chen was awarded the Professional Excellence Award, presented by Mr Niu Qing Bao, General Consul of the People’s Republic of China and Frank Cui, the head of Asian Banking at Bank of New Zealand. In addition, Mai Chen was awarded the supreme Judges Panel Award, presented by Neil Baudinet, MONTBLANC Director and Andy Symons, the Director of Retail and Bank of New Zealand.
Both awards are a recognition of Mai Chen’s legal leadership, her 26 years of legal expertise and her work connecting Asian businesses with New Zealand partners and the machinery of government.
Other winners include Donald Sew Hoy, Derek Li and Jacky Lam who won Outstanding Entrepreneurship awards, Dr Ning Huang, who won the Business Innovation Award and Benny Huang who won a Professional Excellence Award.
Chen Palmer has now completed its nationwide expansion, with busy offices in both Wellington and Auckland. Mai Chen and the Chen Palmer team are looking forward to continuing to provide our clients with high quality advice about the important interface between Asia and New Zealand.
