Complimentary six month program to unfit police officers

4 March 2013
MEDIA RELEASE

Jenny Craig provides complimentary six month program to unfit police officers

Following the news that New Zealand has more than 360 unfit police officers Jenny Craig is reaching out to the force, offering a helping hand with a complimentary six month program for all those who sign up.

Jenny Craig focuses on the three areas of Food, Body and Mind - a holistic approach. The Body aspect of the program focused on the individual’s fitness is an area our Kiwi cops could benefit from.

Amy Smith, MD of Jenny Craig New Zealand and Australia encourages police officers to take advantage of the offer and learn life-long skills for a healthy diet and lifestyle.

“It’s important to understand the program is not a diet. Each person is provided with a support system second-to-none and a tailored eating plan and exercise recommendations are given,” explains Ms Smith. “An additional advantage for Jenny Craig clients is that all the meals are provided making it simple and convenient for those who work long hours and undertake shift work.”

All police officers who visit a Jenny Craig centre between now and 31 March and show their identification will automatically receive a complementary six month program which includes all consultations, food is additional.
