Rev up the farm with your new
Yamaha from Vodafone
Vodafone is giving Northland Field Days visitors plenty of reasons to visit its stand at Dargaville this weekend, with a brand new Yamaha AG200E motorbike, worth $6,349 up for grabs.
The giveaway is part of Vodafone’s commitment to give Northlanders access to the very best tools and services. Already, more than 90,000 addresses in rural New Zealand have access to broadband through the Government’s Rural Broadband Initiative, and Northland will gain 12 new cellsites over the next three years. That means new wireless broadband and mobile coverage for over 9,000 addresses and multiple roads and highways across the region.
Vodafone’s Head of Rural Marketing, Darren Hopper, says Vodafone is passionate about the rural sector. “Our network roll-out across rural New Zealand is connecting more farmers and rural residents every day. Together with our partners and our rural product suite, we will help transform the industry and ensure it remains a powerhouse of New Zealand growth.”
Hopper says Vodafone has a larger presence than ever before at this year’s Northland Field Days event and the company is hosting one of its rural innovation partners on its stand.
“Precision Farming will be demonstrating how better mobile coverage can support increased productivity using livestock management and other agribusiness applications. This is all about helping rural New Zealand access and make the most of the innovative tools available today.”
