Team of Locals Excited to Reopen Waipukurau Caltex
WAIPUKURAU, New Zealand, 08 FEBRUARY 2012 – The team of locals that will manage and staff Caltex Waipukurau are excited to announce that the station will be reopening at the end of March, 2013, following major redevelopments on the site.
Since September last year, the site has undergone an extensive rebuild to modernise and refresh the station, bringing greater convenience to locals.
“We’re looking forward to opening the doors come March,” says Dipak Bagia, the station’s owner. “We’re really proud of the work that has been done and to be able to bring a higher level of service to Waipukurau.”
In ensuring that the new Caltex site provides everything the Waipukurau community requires, the rebuild includes the following additions:
• Brand new workshop
• Full convenience store, complete with café and lotteries
• LPG services
• The latest in Caltex imagery that is being rolled out around Asia Pacific
• More efficient lighting
Once all upgrades are complete, customers can also take advantage of the Caltex AA Smartfuel offer where AA Smartfuel and AA Member cardholders can save six cents per litre when spending $40 or more on petrol or diesel.
“The Caltex Star stands for quality, value and service. Most importantly, it stands for our commitment to our customers – and we look forward to welcoming them to the revitalised Waipukurau site,” says Pete Morris, General Manager of Chevron New Zealand.
Located on the corner of Herbert and Russell Streets, Caltex Waipukurau will be open 24hrs a day seven days a week.
