Garage Entertainment and Sony launch new channel for action and lifestyle sports films
Auckland, 30 January 2013 – Garage Entertainment and Sony are bringing the best extreme sports action movies straight into your lounge with the new Garage Entertainment channel available exclusively on Sony Entertainment Network.
Whatever action sport you’re into – surf, snow, skate, ski, moto, bike or some other outdoor madness the Garage Entertainment channel has it all. From Taylor Steele’s Castles in Sky and Kai Neville’s Modern Collective, to Travis Rice’s That's It That’s All and the entire Crusty Demons of Dirt collection, Sony’s new Garage Entertainment Channel will provide an online streaming hub for just about every action sports and lifestyle film available, playing host to the planet’s most exciting and inspirational adventure films, documentaries and television series.
Including films from Nitro Circus, Crusty Demons, and Red Bull Media House, influential extreme athletes such as Kelly Slater, Shuan White, Travis Pastrana, Tony Hawk and thousands more will all call the Garage Entertainment Channel home from now where their respective films can be streamed on-demand instantly via any internet connected Sony BRAVIA TV, Blu-ray Player, and Blu-ray Home Theatre System.
With the recent launch of the Action Cam, Sony’s new ultra-compact, lightweight camera designed for extreme sports, viewers may soon be producing their own films that appear on the Channel.
Customers will have the choice of signing up for three, six or twelve month subscriptions at $19.99AUD[1], $39.99AUD, and $69.99AUD respectively and a low ongoing monthly subscription of $8.50AUD per month.
The Garage Entertainment subscription channel is available now on all Sony BRAVIA Internet TVs, Blu-ray Players, and Blu-ray Home Theatre
